World Para Swimming Championships 2025

This section highlights the upcoming volunteering opportunities for one of our biggest events this year. Interested volunteers are encouraged to read through the page carefully and indicate their interest via the form at the end of the page. We are currently looking for Volunteer Leads.

About the Event

We are excited to share that the World Para Swimming Championships, the highest level competition for Para swimmers outside the Paralympic Games, will take place in Asia for the first time in September 2025. Singapore will be the proud host of this landmark event, as part of its 60th birthday celebrations. The event will bring together top Para swimmers from the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games alongside emerging talents aspiring for Los Angeles 2028, and showcase the determination and excellence of Para athletes.

Recruiting Volunteer Leads

For this huge upcoming event, we are expecting a significant number of volunteers. Therefore, for those who are familiar with us, we have decided to introduce something different which is the implementation of Volunteer Leads. We hope to be able to get a team of passionate leads to join us in the journey to make World Para Swimming Championships 2025 a success!

Above, you will find the hierarchical organization of the different personnel involved as well as the key recruitment dates for Volunteer Leads. For each functional area listed, we are looking for a team of at least 3 Volunteer Leads. Details of the respective Volunteer Leads within the team will be shared at a later date.

Below, you can find the overall timeline of September (inclusive of dates aside from the competition period), the various roles & responsibilities of the different functional areas (combined scope of the 3 Volunteer Leads) as well as the deployment periods.
